The X-Files Chronology

This is my attempt to give the X-Files a place in the calendar. It was inspired by Michael Marek's website. Although I have have kept his basic timeline, I have rewritten the episode descriptions.
I am working through all the episodes and have just started on Season 3. I am making alterations to the timeline as I feel necessary and I hope that updates will be made at regular intervals.
Where possible I have used the dates indicated in the episodes or inferred them from the original transmission date. Allowances have been made for continuity errors.
The Cigarette Smoking Man, also called the Smoking Man and Cancer Man has been shortened, in most cases, to CSM.
